Hi, I’m Kaitlyn — the owner and artist behind Sun Ink’d Tanning, LLC.

I launched Sun Ink’d in September 2021, but this didn’t start as a trend for me — it started as an obsession. From growing up in pageants to watching the beauty industry evolve, I found my lane in sunless tanning right as it began taking over — and I have never looked back.

​

Everything I’ve built, is rooted in real work. I invested in my education by earning my basic certification through SUNNATAN, and continued leveling up with advanced certifications in Tanning People of Color, Body Contouring, and ultimately achieving Master Spray Tan Artist status in early 2025; all through SprayTanClass. This isn’t guesswork — it’s precision, experience, and a deep understanding of skin, tone, and formulation.

As of January of 2026, I’ve taken that passion even further — dabbling in creating my own sunless products from the ground up. These are thoughtfully developed, client-tested, and available on my retail page for those who want a DIY Sun Ink’d glow at home!

I’m also a proud mom of three small children; living and loving the country life in the outskirts of Charleston, SC. I definitely know what it’s like to juggle everything — kids, work, schedules, absolute chaos — and still want to feel put together and confident. That’s why I’ve built this business with real life in mind. No judgment, no pressure — just results that fit into your world.

What started as a side hustle has turned into a full-blown brand — one that blends artistry, edge, and intention. Sun Ink’d Tanning isn’t just about getting tan — it’s about owning your confidence, enhancing what’s already yours, and stepping into your best self unapologetically.
